21/5/20 covid hypothesis: the only way to reconcile the swab tests and antibody test results now with the fact that the cases haven't exploded from early april when the 5% antibody test in sweden was taken and now is because there was an original strain of covid before this one probably months before nov 2019 and it means that a significant number of people have the antibodies from the original strain. so: original strain of covid19 started around august 2019, had very little fatalities, spread around the world to like 20% of the population. gave them antibodies. the second strain appears in china wuhan. is way deadlier. gets noticed. then it spreads through all the people without antibodies. because the antibodies are present in many people, it makes social distancing measures way more effective than they would ordinarily be. that reconciles the sweden antibody data and the confirm cases data from april until now.
